Thyroid disorders and eye diseases are interrelated through several mechanisms thus, awareness of this relation has a great impact on early diagnosis and treatment.
Perspectives
Writing this article was a great pleasure. From a clinical practice viewpoint, it should be mentioned that thyroid disorders are accompanied by many ocular diseases; this is the first review summarizing this issue.
