What is it about?
This study was an up-to-date meta-analysis that focusing on the correlation between ALDH2 polymorphism and LOAD by comprehending five case-control studies. Our results showed that there was no positive significance between ALDH2 polymorphism and LOAD. Whereas, a tendency that the significance became more positive as the sample size enlarged and men with ALDH2*2 had higher risk for LOAD were observed.
