What is it about?
This study examines the use of dating apps by Thai men who have sex with men (MSMs) and how these apps are used to encourage substance use. It was found that a significant proportion (73%) of Thai MSMs used dating apps to find partners and invite others to engage in illicit drug use. The study also revealed that substance use during sexual encounters decreased condom usage, indicating a need for further research in this area.

It is my hope that this study serves as a starting point for further research that will ultimately improve the lives of Thai MSMs and help reduce the harmful consequences of substance use.
