What is it about?

This publication uses valuable real-world evidence (RWE) to quantify the burden of bleeding on patient outcomes, healthcare resource utilization, and hospital costs across a range of nine surgical procedures. In this large study of over 50,000 patients, we describe increases in total hospital costs, length of stay and hospital readmissions associated with disruptive surgical bleeding.
