What is it about?

The imbalance in gender equality in education and work in the United Arab Emirates and the wider Middle East region. Despite highly educated women in the labor force, their recruitment, retention, and promotion to middle and senior levels remains relatively low. We create multimedia resources to address this problem of gender equality at the Virtual Center for Women & Leadership (MENA) (https://www.wiluae.com/).

Why is it important?

To address relatively low levels of gender equality in the United Arab Emirates. This study is to increase career persistence by women in the Arab Gulf states, particularly national and expatriate women in Ras Al Khaimah and the northern emirates. Particularly to encourage women and recruiters to redress this problem of gender equality by using the Expert Woman list https://www.wiluae.com/
