Historical and detective fiction prove to be good reflections of conflicts and tensions in society, especially when dealing with all sorts of minorities and underrepresented groups. My main research interest is to see to what extent those with some kind of power affect and shape the lives of the weakest ones in society, both in the past and in current times. I mostly focus on the conflicts between those on top and the others, as well as on the tools used by the latter to make themselves heard. As my publishing record shows, I always try to shed light on and give voice to those who are generally considered a minority while exposing the clashes and frictions around them
