Why is it important?
Coursebooks and textbooks are important aspects in learning and teaching of ESL, and so it is absolutely necessary to evaluate whether or not one of the most prominent textbooks, Cutting Edge, is actually suitable. This study is important because it has been able to identify weaknesses from a realistic point of view regarding the textbook.
Perspectives
I believe that while doing this study, I’ve been able to see much clearly whether the textbook used in teaching was effective or not. It’s been absolutely important in making me realize that there should be many such evaluations regarding ESL textbooks in order to find the best and most effective textbook to teach students. Realistic aspects is truly important so that students may be able to actually use what they learn in real life more naturally.
