What is it about?

This article analyses the impact that collaborative work between translation students can have on their self-efficacy beliefs, that is, on their confidence as translators. Different research techniques (both qualitative and quantitative are used): the survey, interviews, classroom observation and focus groups (or group interviews).

It is necessary to shed light on possible ways to incorporate the development of a realistic level of confidence by students in translator education. This paper sheds lights on how collaboration can be used to achieve this aim.
