Why is it important?

The proposed multicriteria model is based on the ELECTRE TRI method for obtaining degrees of credibility and ratings of organizational performance. An experimental study was conducted to investigate the application of the proposed model. Rating scales, based on Likert (1932), were used and a set of criteria was inspired by the following awards for management excellence: the Deming Prize, the Malcolm Baldridge Award, the National Quality Award and European Quality Award. As a result, it was possible to obtain a classification and to identify the criteria of excellence that should be prioritized to improve the classification achieved by an organization.

Perspectives

This paper should support organizational managers in improving the competitive level of their companies.
