What is it about?

Lactic acid bacteria from ruminal ingesta possessed probiotic potentials which could be of importance in the fermentation of feedstock for cow and goat diet

Why is it important?

Our findings indicate that very few microorganisms from ruminal ingesta possessed the ability to have amylolytic and bacteriocin potentials together. These two attributes are essential in the fermentation of raw materials for ruminants feed. Thereby confering health benefits because of the probiotic potentials of the microorganisms.

Perspectives

I hope the article sheds more light on the importance of lactic acid bacteria as microorganisms of interest in our daily living. The authors that worked together to put up this article were very hardworking and interesting individuals. I appreciate the time and effort.
