Why is it important?

Isolated high frequency and less severe hearing loss, older age comorbodities like cardiovascular disease and diabetes were found as negative prognostic factors. Time of introduction of the treatment, gender, and side of the affected ear did not influence the outcome.

Perspectives

We have to know much more about the pathology of this disease, that is why we have to make more and more studies to figure what can couse it and how we can treath it.
