What is it about?

The authors used a co-precipitation method to prepare xCuO/(1-x)CdFe2O4 nanocomposites. They found that the nanocomposites contained both CuO and CdFe2O4 and a small amount of α-Fe2O3. They studied the structural, optical, and dielectric properties of the nanocomposites. Their conductivity improved as the amount of CuO increased. They also found that the properties of the nanocomposites could be adjusted by changing the percentage of CuO used in their creation. Overall, this study suggests that xCuO/(1-x)CdFe2O4 nanocomposites have the potential for use in high-frequency applications.
