What is it about?
Low temperature flow of engine lubricants is critical to reliable performance. This study evaluates one test method that is used to measure low temperature lubricant flow. The current test method is a manual method requiring several timed steps and has rather poor precision. This study indicates that by automating the method the measurement precision is significantly improved.
