The paper introduces and describes MASWavesPy, an open-source Python package for processing and inverting MASW data for evaluation of soil shear wave velocity. The reliability of the software is assessed for civil engineering applications at soft sedimentary sites and an evaluation of the long-term inter-session variability of MASW measurements conducted.
