What is it about?

The paper presents a new simple to perform procedure to determine the unsaturated hydraulic parameters for granular material. The new procedure includes running multi-stage flow tests on sand columns while measuring pressure buildup at inflow followed by inverse modeling of the results using a freely available software (Hydrus 1D) to back-calculate these parameters.
