What is it about?
In recent years sustainability goal in construction field has been pursued by considering the use of alternative raw materials in concrete production. Within the SeaCon-Infravation Project, the possible use of chloride-contaminated concrete has been studied combined with corrosion-resistant reinforcement for durable concrete structures. Specifically, the experimental study presented in this paper is aimed at investigating the effects of chlorides in the raw materials on the durability-related properties of concrete.
