What is it about?

A new method for interpreting nanoindentation data

Featured Image

Why is it important?

Elastic constants are calculated during elastic deformation and not after plastic deformation.

Perspectives

The proposed method could be expanded in other types of materials and stand as an alternative to the widely-used Oliver-Pharr method.
