What is it about?

The multidisciplinary consensus panel of the European Atherosclerosis Society (EAS) and the European Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (EFLM) produced recommendations on the quantification of atherogenic lipoproteins in nonfasting and fasting blood samples. This EFLM guideline summarizes the consensus-based recommendations of this expert panel and aims to provide appropriate guidance on the pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical phases of laboratory testing of atherogenic lipoproteins.
