What is it about?
Brevican, neurocan, tenascin-C and tenascin-R are extracellular matrix proteins present in the brain. Minta et al. show that these proteins are accurate outcome predictors in human traumatic brain injury and they are promising novel biomarker candidates for traumatic brain injury assessment.
