What is it about?

Syrian Refugees and asylum seekers face many difficulties in second language acquisition. They encounter this problem in all non-Arabic speaking countries that they fled to. Their perspectives on these difficulties and on how to overcome them is important to understand second language acquisition in the refuge context.

Why is it important?

It is important to gain first-hand data from the refugees on the difficulties they encounter in second language acquisition. The solutions they propose are also pivotal. Getting this kind of data may help make their lives easier on the long run.

Perspectives

I am glad that I was able to get this work through as it it waters the prospect of providing the necessary support to Syrian refugees and asylum seekers in acquiring the second language of the country they fled to.
