What is it about?
This article collects all the data to have a global vision of the communication problems that migrants had to face in Germany during the crisis. This study aims to show all the problems and challenges a refugee encountered during that crisis when applying for asylum in Germany, a country that at that time was not prepared to offer the translation service meeting the quality standards required to help a migrant.

Why is it important?
It is important to be able to have a global view of the problems faced by the BAMF, the translators and the interpreters and see how they dealt with these challenges. Thus, in the future, it will be possible to meet the quality standards in translation and interpretation and help the asylum seekers in a more efficient way.
