What is it about?
This paper reviews and discusses the different types and operating principles of ocean wave generators, the machines that can generate electricity from the movements of ocean waves. MATLAB simulations were used as part of the analysis and evaluation.

Why is it important?
Results of the study show the electric energy generated improved up to 80% in contrast to the present instrument. The results of this work could lead the way towards more active implementations of wave power generators and the use of sustainable energy resources.
