What is it about?

Children are affected by heart disease which can be congenital or acquired after birth. Congenital heart diseases are more common than acquired heart diseases according to our study. The commonest congenital heart diseases are those demonstrating a shunt ir defect between the two ventricles.

Perspectives

This study highlights the burden of heart disease in developing countries in a way that congenital heart disease is also the commonest childhood heart disease like that of developed countries.
