What is it about?

The burden of Sexually transmitted infections in youth is not well studied in Sidama Regional State, Ethiopia. We have shown that STIs are common among youth-friendly service attendees in Hawassa city. sexually transmitted infection was more prevalent among females and participants engaged in transactional sex. In this study, high numbers of participants think that the use of condoms is not effective in preventing sexually transmitted infections and they engage in sexual activity without using condoms.
