What is it about?
Nanotechnology can improve the therapeutic efficiency of clinical Photodynamic Therapy (PDT - a cancer treatment) by allowing us to activate the PDT drug with Near-Infrared (NIR) light rather than visible light. This will allow us to penetrate deeper into the tissue and effectively treat larger tumors.
