Why is it important?
The study findings are important because, since the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic started, several potential measures for the treatment and prevention of COVID-19 have been proposed. The absence of benefit for some measures prevent the continued use of non-effective measures.
Perspectives
It is necessary to continue studying more effective and affordable therapeutic options for COVID-19.
