Development of a scale to assess children’s food and nutrition literacy level, therefore, is required to ensure the development and implementation of evidence-based interventions that are more likely to be successful.

Perspectives

this study is the first attempt to develop and evaluate a food and nutrition literacy scale in three level of functional, interactive and critical for children using a combination of methods.
