What is it about?

In this study, researchers are developing a transition program for adolescents and young adults (AYAs) with chronic conditions (type 1 diabetes, asthma, or obesity). They're using a method called Experience-Based Co-Design (EBCD) to involve AYAs, their families, and healthcare providers in the process. The study involves different stages, including observations, interviews, workshops, and feedback events. Data collection started in January 2023 and is expected to finish in May 2024.
