What is it about?
In practice, many employees say they like working from home. Until recently the scientific debate about pros and cons for organizations was unresolved. This study details the positive influence on work quality, health, and well-being of employees.

Why is it important?
The study demonstrates that the places where employees work have a significant impact on their concerns, quality of work, and health; and that working from home has benefits. In a wider context, the study also shows that the built environment, workplaces, and related facilities are crucial factors in advancing people’s health and well-being; and, when chosen well, these factors allow employees to function and perform well for the organizations in which they work.
