What is it about?

This short article teaches you a simple method for germinating many types of seeds to be planted in hydroponics. The method does not use any soil, foam, or substrate. Seeds are instead placed on absorbent paper and tilted on an angle. This is a very similar method to how you might have germinated beans in school by rolling them up in a wet paper towel. No soil means the roots are easy to see, stay clean and disease-free, and seedlings are easy to selected for uniform transplanting.

Why is it important?

This technique allows for fast seed germination and helps growers select even seedlings for uniform growth. Clean, healthy, and even is the name of the game!

Perspectives

Watching seeds grow day by day is a very fun activity! And seeing roots develop is an amazing opportunity enabled by this method.
