As a valid and reliable questionnaire, it is ready for use in the population to assess coping among native Indonesian–speaking advanced cancer patients.

The validation of the Indonesian Brief COPE has important implications for clinical practice and research related to coping among ACP in Indonesia. Now a comprehensive assessment which incorporates coping strategies can be utilized to identify coping strategies used by ACP.
