What is it about?
This study investigated the composition of mosquito species in different kinds of breeding sites in a tropical forest remnant of the Atlantic Forest and identified species of public health concern therein.

Why is it important?
Our results reinforce the need to monitor these breeding sites commonly found throughout the Atlantic Forest Biome, given the epidemiological importance of some species found.
