This review answered the questions of are the available tracers' indicators being adequate to represent overall health problems, how much universal health coverage concepts are addressed in research and what barriers are in-place to challenge universality of universal health coverage.

This review provides insight for setting strategies, evaluating health service performance, and advancing knowledge on priority research questions.
Perspectives
I was fully engaged to write this article and happy with guidance from co-authors (my supervisors). This article led me to work more on equity, global health and primary health care as a public health approach.
