Perspectives

Pregnancy to young women in Africa, particularly those who are poor connotes very high risk, sometimes may result in death. Attending antenatal care is one of the best ways in addressing pregnancy related risks among young pregnant women. Unfortunately, many of them hardly visit health care services for antenatal care. There is the need to understand what constitutes hindrances towards this and develop appropriate policy to address it.
