What is it about?

Cancer treatment have undergone a huge development during last decades, with improved survival and access to new treatments. Cancer treatment and acute care near end-of-life, are indicators of quality of care. This paper explores aggressiveness of care at end-of-life in two cohorts with lung or pancreatic cancers.

It is important to be precise in juding when to not start or when to stop potentially toxic cancer treatments, and give time for preparations at end-of-life.


We face challenges in cancer care, and this includes precision in assessment of prognosis and clarity of goals of care.
