What is it about?

The ATM machines are the new 'banks' and a higher institution like Ede is no exception to the massive visitation of these machines on Campus. Since numerous hands touch the machine pads, this study was overwhelmed by the rate of contamination.

Why is it important?

The study throws more light on our hand hygiene compliance. Since we don't know the identities of people using these machines and where they have been, our individual hygiene come to mind. After the use of any ATM machines, it is advisable to hand wash or use a hand sanitizer for safety against sometime lethal microbes.

Perspectives

This work was very dear to me as it was conducted by an ND student with massive implications. Just using our school as a reference point indicated our absentmindedness towards our personal hygiene.
