What is it about?
Economic decision-making experiments are played repeatedly by a larger sample of subjects than is typical in laboratory studies by having those subjects participate using their own mobile devices. The experimental findings with these larger groups typically replicate findings using smaller groups in laboratory settings. However, there are some differences due to the greater competition that arises with larger group sizes. See the paper for details.

Why is it important?
The use of mobile devices to conduct economic decision making experiments on a wider cross section of individuals is an important future path for behavioral social science researchers.
