What is it about?

Thai herbal tea has been proven to be as effective as domperidone in increasing breast milk production after cesarean section. While the conventional drug has been used off-label with reported adverse events to heart, the tea comprised of five Thai herbs with low side effects.

Few robust randomized head-to-head controlled trials have been done to demonstrate comparable, if not superior, efficacy of herbal products.


Harmonized efforts between conventional and complementary medicine experts are essential for promoting effective yet affordable medical and health care.
