This study investigates the human wellbeing outcomes of involvement in industrial crop production in Ghana by comparing objective and subjective wellbeing measures for groups involved in industrial crop production.

Why is it important?

Our findings indicate that, it is important to combine such indicators when evaluating the human wellbeing outcomes of agricultural investments in order to obtain a more comprehensive outlook

Perspectives

This is an interesting article that combines objective and subjective indicators of human wellbeing and it therefore contributes towards a better understanding of how these indicators capture different aspects and must be considered holistically
