What is it about?
Strong or deep turbulence distortion can cause severe visual distortions. This manuscript introduces a special Fried-lucky sub-aperture imaging technique to retrieve the fundamental truth of an object without using any outside reference information.

Why is it important?
The innovative imaging method introduced by this paper can be combined with conventional imaging techniques to perform vision enhancement under difficult situations.
