What is it about?

The first paper to establish a link between excess volumetric wear and early failure second to the adverse reactions to metal debris. This paper is the origin of the term "ARMD", having originally been presented to the British Hip Society in 2008. Initially rejected for publication for two years. this paper is now in the top 10 of all time most cited arthroplasty articles in the JBJS Br and Am.
