Why is it important?
Continued professional development is a cornerstone of nurse, midwife and allied health professional practice and an essential requirement for NMC revalidation. This series provides an opportunity to consider evidence based practice and current research in relation to a different topic each publication and test their numeracy skills.
Perspectives
As an independent prescriber and educationalist writing this series presents the opportunity to review current pharmacological management of a variety of conditions to expand my contemporary knowledge of these . This is invaluable for conditions which are not in my sphere of practice to support my currency as an educationalist.
