Why is it important?
As new medications being prescribed by hospital Patients and consumers in general are asking more questions to the ingredients and manufacturing process and ethics of what they consume. This article uses the same principle for medicines, particularly new medicines.
Perspectives
Writing this article helped me to be more informed about the medicines I work with. I hope this article will help both prescribers and patients to make more informed decisions about new medicines and to be a source of accurate, balanced and peer-reviewed information about biologics, specialist medication and potential ethical issues of patients regarding their medication choices.
