What is it about?
Ambulance crews report signs of life presenting in patients in cardiac arrest. Resulting in regular stoppages outside the recommended protocols checking to see if the patient has recovered. Adding additional stress on themselves and by the public witnessing such events. Education and awareness is required. Guidance on managing these cardiac arrests are required.

Why is it important?
Education and awareness and acknowledgement such events are occurring within our clinical guidelines. Guidance on managing CPRIC and better data collection to gain a better scale of frequency in the public arena. Research into current and new management strategies should be undertaken.
Perspectives
Having experienced CPRIC during a cardiac arrest before, I was not aware of such events occurring. Only when I did research in to such events I then became more educated and prepared for the next exposure. I want to highlight this issue, educate others so that we can all ensure the patients receive the best care possible when such events are to occur.
