Why is it important?
Good mental health is a vital assert for individuals, influencing how people think, feel and behave within their daily lives. However, despite its importance, social stigma is often negatively attached to those with mental health problems. The objective of this publication serves to break down stereotypes by promoting and prompting discussion within this area.
Perspectives
On reflection, this article has been reasonably therapeutic and cathartic. Mental health has always been an important issue for me, and I strive to normalise its discussion. Due to the stigma attached to mental health, many individuals do not seek or receive the help they need, overlooking the importance and prevalence of this health issue. I hope this article resonates with individuals and highlights the commonness of this issue.
