What is it about?
This study explores the experiences of woman who breastfeed beyond infancy. This article presents the findings which focus on the woman's experiences of the support they received from Health Care Professionals such as Health Visitors

Why is it important?
It is thought that only 1% of woman in the UK breastfeeding beyond 6 months despite the World Health Organization recommending woman should breastfeed for 2 years and beyond. It is therefore, important to consider the experiences of this group in order to understand how health professionals can support them more effectively.
