Why is it important?
An initial comprehensive consultation is single handedly the most important thing we can do for our aesthetic patients. Most patients don't realize what is happening to their face, or that there are effective ways to correct some of the things that bother them on a daily basis.
Perspectives
As aesthetic providers, we have one chance to make a first impression with our prospective patients. The consultation is the time that we can set the tone for the rest of our patient's journey with our office. In our personal practice, our consultation process can take anywhere from 30 min to an hour. We include photos and use them to teach the patients about the aging process. We have found these tools of communication and teaching very effective in setting the relationship into motion for a lifetime of maintenance beauty treatments.
