Why is it important?

It is important to remember these times and how it effected many people - from a symptom and an isolation point of view.

Perspectives

Many people were fortunate in having friends and family around but Covid-19 had an impact on some families. We were unable to visit people we cared for. In many areas, volunteer support groups were set up to do tasks like shopping for goods. Two years later and the smaller towns have many empty shops that previously relied upon passing trade and could not sustain a reduction in footfall
