Why is it important?
Forensic & Legal Medicine has a defined area of workload where practitioners are involved in a variety of interfaces between law and medicine. It is essential that those working in these fields have the skills, competences, training and qualifications to ensure the fair administration of justice and the safety and health of those patients, and others, for whom they provide healthcare and other forensic services.
Perspectives
I have been lucky to work in forensic & legal medicine for a large part of my medical career. Each day brings new and different challenges.
