Perspectives
This was my 1st article and I really enjoyed writing it. I leant so much and I hope it does that for other nurses who are interested in stoma care. As a new stoma nurse then I had no idea what Mucocuteneous separation was. But after writing this article I understood what it was and how to treat it as well. I hope anyone who comes across this article will enjoy reading it and most importantly learn a lot on mucocutaneous separation.

Writing this article was quite interesting as it was my 1st one. I enjoyed researching about different ways of managing mucocutaneous separation. This is one of the most common complications especially following stoma forming surgery. I hope readers will find this article useful in managing this common complication.
